Artist and textile designer Serena Dugan was inspired by the easy, casual beach life and lush landscapes of Brazil when creating this striking pattern. She created this deep palm leaf design that becomes bold and textural when placed in repeat. This results in a final product that feels tropical without being too literal.

Our Co-Founder, Lily Kanter, first partnered with Serena Dugan in 2003 when they co-founded the eponymous home and lifestyle brand Serena & Lily. Dugan has since launched Serena Dugan Studio, where her creativity is brought to life in textiles, wallpapers, and fine art.
